Help Us Bring Anna Wu Back to Chuck!

Welcome to We Love Anna Wu

Welcome to the We Love Anna Wu fan site!

The mission of this website is to create a community for Anna Wu fans and create awareness for the love that exists for this unique and charming Nerd Herder from NBC's TV show Chuck, in the hopes that the creators of Chuck will realize just how much Anna Wu is appreciated by Chuck fans.  As you may be aware, Julia Ling, the actress who plays Anna Wu, was removed from the main cast of Chuck during Season 3 due to budget constraints, making one guest appearance in Episode 3.16 - "Chuck Versus the Tooth."  We believe that Anna Wu has a lot more potential and can be a really great addition to Season 4, and we believe that with your help we can make her return to Chuck possible!  Here's what you can do to help!

Enjoy the site, Anna Wu fans, and check back often!  We have a lot of great ideas planned, including contests and some exclusive Anna Wu content!

Chris,

Thanks for putting in the effort into the site; I was noticing that you haven’t mentioned some inconsistency in Anna’s character and holes in the story during season 3.

  1. We never hear Anna’s side of the break up.  I realize we are to trust Morgan, but didn’t he think she was cheating on him at multiple points in season 1&2?

  2. Anna goes from Goth to Glam in her brief appearances in 3:16, which is a change I’ve only seen Courtney Love pull.  Roll back to season 2 and “Crown Vic” and the whole clean rich girl scene is one her character states she hates.

  3. Not to list all of them, but I have to mention the Buy More is NO MORE.  What of the fans of Big Mike, Jeff and Lester, all of whom are as homeless as Anna?  Do we think half the cast is washed out, or do we consider the simple thought that they all return?

I am hoping this will start some discussion on how Anna’s story isn’t at an end.  Mostly as your site shows that there is more plots and developments to be made with the original cast back to full strength.  Let's hear some of Julia Ling fans find other Anna related holes, drop ideas and thoughts on how to fill them.  How do we see the character of Anna growing, and just what has she done while out of sight?  We should take this time to have fun and be creative. I've seen lots of actors, actresses, writers and artist on Julia's Facebook, so we are a group with brilliant imaginations, right? We should hear something about Julia Ling's recent trip to Europe and the fans there. (Welcome to all of them that have found this site.)  I also see the petition is in the hundreds for signatures, and so let's hope this simple message brings each voice too. - MC

I think the good thing about the big changes in Anna's behavior and appearance from Season 2 to Season 3 leaves a lot of room for explanations.  There's a lot that's changed since we last saw Anna - so what happened?  I completely agree with you that we're only hearing Morgan's side of the story so far and we all know based on Morgan's history that he tends to screw up relationships from time to time.  I think it's only fair that we get to hear Anna's side of the story.

I'm concerned about what no more Buy More means for the show.  Personally, I loved the Buy More (and the Buy More characters).  I don't think Big Mike and Jeffster will vanish in Season 4, but I'm curious about how the non-spy world is going to fit in.  The only potential good thing here is maybe it means we'll see more character growth for these guys (and Anna!) since we will have more time to see them outside of the Buy More world.  Again, there's a lot of possibilities for the storylines, so this could go a lot of ways!

Don't forget, if anyone has some great storyline ideas, be sure to post them in the "Suggest a Storyline" section!!
